your wedding. I look forward to meeting you soon.
When someone asks about my photographic style, they are usually expecting me to define my wedding photography approach as fine art or as photojournalism. In reality, it’s both – it all depends on the time of the day. There are moments during a wedding day, like the ceremony or during the toasts, where I act as a photojournalist, documenting what unfolds before me in a low-key way, focusing on the moment and the emotions, while trying to capture them beautifully. After all, I am a story teller, and I will capture all the moments that matter, and everything in between.
At other times, for instance, during the portraits, I am in complete control, the creator of refined, beautiful images. I stay away from forced posing, but give gentle direction to slightly adjust your natural stance. I strive to create photos that capture the essence of who you are, and the love between the two of you. I will do everything to make sure you are both completely comfortable in front of my camera, so your images feel intimate, like I was not even there.
